Typhoid Vaccines
Typhoid fever is a serious and potentially life-threatening infection caused by Salmonella enterica serotype Typhi. Specifically, it is transmitted through contaminated food and water.
Furthermore, it remains common in the Philippines and other tropical regions. As a result, it poses risks to food handlers, healthcare workers, travelers, and employees in community or field settings.
Vaccination offers long-lasting protection. Therefore, it is a key preventive measure for organizations that prioritize employee health, public safety, and occupational disease prevention.
Additionally, Affinity Vaccines carries two WHO-approved injectable typhoid vaccines — Typherix® (GSK) and Typhim Vi® (Sanofi Pasteur) — suitable for both adult and pediatric vaccination programs.
